01 — The premise

We don't sell holidays. We design journeys.

A bespoke trip with Emba begins with a conversation, not a brochure. One designer is assigned to you. They learn what you've been imagining — not just the destination, but the texture of it: the kind of meal you want on the third night, whether you'd rather be moved or left alone, what time of morning you actually want to wake up. Over six to ten weeks they shape the trip around all of that, then handle every reservation, transfer, table-booking, and quiet word with the right concierge so that when you arrive, you arrive expected.

We don't run packages. We don't have departure dates. The minimum trip is seven days; the average is fifteen. Most clients book one trip a year with us and stay with the same designer for a decade.

02 — How it works

Four steps over six to ten weeks.

I

A discovery conversation, sixty minutes.

Week 1 · Free

Your designer calls you — ideally with whoever you're travelling with on the line. We don't run through a checklist. We ask what trips you've loved and what trips you've regretted. We ask what time you want to wake up, what the bedroom should smell like, what you don't want to do under any circumstances. Most calls run long.

You leave with no obligation. We leave with enough to write a proposal.

II

A first proposal, hand-written.

Week 2–3 · A £500 deposit, applied to the trip

Two weeks later you receive a thirty-to-fifty page document — the trip in narrative form, day by day, with the reasoning behind every choice. Not a slide deck. A piece of writing.

The proposal includes one or two deliberate alternatives at key moments — a different region for the first half, a different hotel for the third night — so you can feel the shape of the decision rather than be forced into it.

III

A second draft, then a third.

Week 4–6 · Revisions are unlimited

You read it, you mark it up, you call us. We revise. Some clients move three things; some rebuild the whole second half. The fee includes as many drafts as it takes to land on a trip you'd defend to a sceptic at a dinner party.

Once we're aligned, your designer locks every reservation, transfer, table, and ticket. We send you a single document with everything in it.

IV

A real person on the other end of the phone, the entire trip.

Departure onwards · Always included

From wheels-up to wheels-down, your designer is reachable on a single number. Re-routings, lost-bag chases, last-minute hotel switches, the restaurant that decided to close on a Tuesday — all handled while you sleep, in your timezone or theirs.

When you land back, we call. Not for a survey. Because we want to hear how it went.

03 — Investment

From £8,000 per person.

Bespoke trips begin at £8,000 per person for a week and run open-ended from there. The figure includes flights, accommodation, transfers, the designer's time, and a 24-hour concierge throughout. It does not include travel insurance (we'll quote it separately) or any meals you choose to pay for yourself.

Below that floor, we'd rather refer you to a flights-and-hotels specialist than under-deliver on something we'd put our name to. If £8,000pp isn't where you are right now, our flights desk and visa desk are excellent — both linked at the top of the page.

04 — What we plan well

Five trips we keep doing well.

A non-exhaustive list, drawn from the bookings we send the most repeat clients on.

  • Multi-stop honeymoons, twelve to twenty-one days, two to four countries
  • Family trips that work for everyone from the four-year-old to the grandparent
  • Anniversary returns — back to a place you went thirty years ago, restaged
  • Slow trips — one country, one designer's-cut itinerary, fewer transfers
  • Small group departures — twelve seats, three times a year, a designer travels with you
  • Sabbatical month-long itineraries with built-in slack
  • Bookend luxury — a five-star anchor with adventure between, no compromise on either
  • Repeat-client renewals — we already know how you travel, lighter discovery, faster proposal

05 — The boring bits, included

Things already in the price.

  • Black-car transfers, both ends, flight-tracked
  • Travel insurance underwritten by carriers we've actually claimed against
  • 24/7 concierge throughout the trip
  • Hotel suite upgrades and amenities where our relationships allow
  • Restaurant reservations (including the ones with no online booking)
  • Private guides where you want them, none where you don't
  • A printed itinerary, leather-bound, posted before you fly
  • One human assigned to your file from first call to landing back

Tell us what you've been picturing.
